Guest cabin with sauna

A sauna takes part of the floor area and needs either a powerful electric heater or a wood-burning stove with a chimney. In an 18 m² house it can be combined, but the room gets smaller. We confirm in the quote whether a sauna can be built into your specification.

Boverket states that installing a stove and flue requires a notification. Electrical installations must be carried out by a company registered with Elsäkerhetsverket (the Swedish National Electrical Safety Board).

How much room is left?

Every square metre of sauna is taken from the kitchen, toilet or sleeping area. It works for one or two people but feels cramped for a family. An alternative is a separate sauna built later – it then counts towards the plot's allowance.

Our answer

Write in your request that you want a sauna and whether you prefer electric or wood. We tell you honestly whether it can be delivered.
