Why should I trust you?
We know the factory personally and have bought two houses from it ourselves. You get everything in writing – quote, drawings and contract – before you decide.
What does the house cost?
From approx. SEK 376,000 incl. VAT, delivered by crane (≈ €33,750). The exact price for your address is in the quote.
What is included in the price?
The 6 × 3 m house with kitchen and toilet, VAT, transport and crane lift. Foundation, connections and municipal fees are not included.
How big is the house?
6 × 3 metres, 18 m². The exact building area and height are shown on the drawing in the quote.
Do I need a building permit?
Usually not if the plot has a one- or two-family home and the house stands at least 4.5 m from the boundary (or the neighbour consents). A detailed plan, shoreline protection and total-defence areas can change that.
Do I need to file a notification?
Not for the house itself since 1 December 2025, but for installing water and drainage for the kitchen and toilet. You may not connect until the municipality has issued a start decision.
Must there be a house on the plot?
To build without a permit, the Attefall house must supplement an existing one- or two-family home. On an empty plot a building permit is needed.
How close to the boundary can the house stand?
Closer than 4.5 metres requires a building permit unless the affected neighbours have approved the placement in writing.
Who builds the foundation?
You arrange the foundation, yourself or through a local contractor, to our dimension sketch.
How is the house delivered?
We drive the house in one piece on a truck and lift it by crane straight down onto the foundation.
What if the crane truck cannot get there?
We assess access before you order. If a larger crane is needed it is in the quote; if it is not possible at all we tell you before you order.
Can the house be used in winter?
It depends on the specification. We specify insulation and heating in the quote according to how you will use the house.
Can I rent out the house?
A supplementary dwelling can be used as a home. Renting is governed by rules other than the building permit – check with the municipality and any housing association or joint property association.
What is the delivery time?
It is stated in the quote, since it depends on the order book and transport.
In which currency do I pay?
The invoice may be in euros. Prices on the site are shown in Swedish kronor, converted at the ECB rate, and the quote states the exact amount and currency.
Do you have houses in stock?
No, we build every house to order.
Can I get other dimensions?
The standard model is 6 × 3 m. Tell us when we reply to your request if you need something else, and we will tell you what is possible.
What do you need to give a quote?
Your email, where the plot is and whether there is already a home there. The rest we can handle by email.
